Planting design in Andover garden
A gravel path frames the lawn, leading through a timber arch to the winter garden.
Predominately laid to a large lawn, the brief was to break up the space, creating pathways through the garden with a layout of planted borders to provide the client, a keen gardener, with a succession of seasonal colour change and interest throughout the year.
The garden is divided into three areas linked with a gravel paths that lead the garden visitor from the terrace through the main garden to a woodland winter garden. Timber obelisks and an arch, evergreen shrubs and topiary provide year round structure. A carefully chosen palette of plants ensures colour and interest in the garden from season to season.
