As part of total refurbishment of a London townhouse, the garden was removed in order to excavate and build a basement kitchen. The new garden was reinstated at the original ground level. Visible at all times through a glass facade, the brief was for a timeless, 'wild' garden with year round impact.
Belgian brick pavers were used to create an established feel and provide plenty of space for outdoor entertaining. An aged Olive tree is the key structural specimen plant, with Box balls and flowering herbaceous perennials to give highlights of colour throughout the seasons.
