Brief: To create a seating area incorporating a focal point to be viewed from the house.
Design: The perforated wall is inspired by the client's interest in abstract art and gives a modern twist to the garden.
During the day, the timber bench seat provides a sunny spot to relax in, whilst at night, lighting brings the sculptural element of the wall to life, adding an extra dimension to the design.
The modern theme of the garden design is enhanced with the planting. Grasses combined with the perennials add structure, texture, colour and movement.
