Brief: To create an open, bright modern garden, in keeping with the crisp, minimal interior, incorporating a terraced eating area, a sunny lounging area, a small vegetable patch and storage.
Design: A light coloured Sandstone terrace with integrated seating makes the most of the space to provide an intimate dining space. Steps lead up to the sunny hardwood deck surrounded with planting that provides colour, scent and year round structure. Deck and stone paths link the two terraces and lead to the raised vegetable bed and storage unit towards the rear. Accent lighting gives the garden atmosphere at night and helps to bring the outside in at all times of the year.
