Brief: To divide this long country garden into a series of usable spaces, incorporating two linked terraces, a formal water feature surrounded by structural planting with a white border planting scheme.
Design: The paved terrace incorporates a narrow water channel which flows over a black granite water spout into a lower rill and on to a formal pool beyond. Sandstone is used to compliment the local stone, while strong lines and geometric shapes provide a modern twist to the country setting.
